HERITAGE VILLAGE PROJECT AND CULTURAL ENCOUNTERS (USA) DONATES BOOKS TO CHARTER OAK DEGLORY SCHOOL

Can you recall how many books you’ve read while growing up? Isn’t it a wonder to say the words in sentences and hear them speak to you? “Books are more treasurable, than the pirate’s lot on treasure Island,” Walt Disney.

The availability of books expands us to diverse ideas. Hence, it is important to make them accessible to all.

Our friends from Heritage Village Project and Cultural Encounters in the United States donated a collection of books to the school’s library, to share in evolving a reading culture among students.

The future is troubled if children are deprived from this treasure therefore, we at Charter Oak Deglory School, are thankful for these books received on 29th March 2023.
The books were presented by Mr. Kojjo Opoku Revees, Head of Heritage Village and Ms. Ama Gati, Head of Cultural Encounters.

We acknowledge their kind act of donating books to the School.
With this gift, students will satisfy their curiosity while reading for a lifetime.

These books will improve the students’ vocabulary, inform them about the world around, and travel on a life journey with them.
